Terms of Service
Updated: 2026-07-18
1. General
This document sets out the terms of psychological counselling services (the "Services"). Provider: Казаева Анна Владимировна, self-employed under the Russian professional income tax regime (NPD), email: hello@annakazaeva.com (the "Provider").
Requesting the Services via the contact channels listed on the site constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms; from that moment a contract between the Client and the Provider is deemed concluded.
By accepting these terms, the Client confirms that they are at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity, request the Services voluntarily, and provide accurate information about themselves.
2. Definitions
In these terms:
- "Client" — a legally capable individual who has accepted these terms.
- "Session" — an individual psychological consultation held by video call, with a standard duration of 50 minutes.
- "Acceptance" — the Client requesting the Services via the contact channels listed on the site and/or paying for a Session.
3. Services and format
The Provider offers individual online psychological consultations for adults (video call). A standard session lasts 50 minutes. Consultations are available in Russian and English.
Psychological counselling is not a medical service: it does not include diagnosing or prescribing treatment and does not replace the help of a psychiatrist or medical psychotherapist.
4. Booking, price, and payment
Sessions are booked via the channels listed on the Contacts page. The price, time, and payment method are agreed with the client at booking, before the session.
The Provider applies the professional income tax regime; after payment the client receives a receipt issued as required by law.
5. Delivery and acceptance of services
A session requires a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private space on the Client’s side. Technical issues on the Client’s side are not grounds for a refund of a session that has taken place.
The Services are deemed properly rendered and accepted by the Client if, within 3 (three) calendar days after the session, the Client has not sent the Provider a reasoned written complaint to hello@annakazaeva.com.
6. Rescheduling and cancellation
A session can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. For later cancellations or no-shows the session fee may be withheld.
If a session does not take place through the Provider’s fault, it is rescheduled at the client’s convenience or the payment is fully refunded.
7. Confidentiality and personal data
The content of consultations and any information shared by the Client is confidential and is not disclosed without the Client’s consent, except where expressly required by law.
The Client’s personal data is processed solely to provide the Services and only to the extent needed to book and hold sessions, in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data.” By requesting the Services, the Client consents to such processing.
8. Limitations and crisis situations
The Services are not intended for emergencies or crisis situations requiring urgent help. If life or health is at risk, contact emergency services — crisis phone lines are listed at the bottom of the Consultations page.
The Provider may decline to provide the Services or recommend a specialised professional if the client’s request falls outside the competence of a psychologist.
9. Warranties and liability
By its nature, psychological counselling does not guarantee any particular outcome; the Client’s expectations as to results are not an obligation of the Provider. The effectiveness of the Services depends in part on the Client’s involvement and the accuracy of the information they provide.
The Provider is not liable for the Client’s decisions, actions, or condition based on the consultations, nor for the consequences of the Client providing inaccurate information. The Provider’s liability is in any event limited to the price of the session paid.
10. Force majeure
The parties are released from liability for failure to perform their obligations where it is caused by force majeure (natural disasters, military action, epidemics, failures of communication networks and power supply, and other circumstances beyond the parties’ control). The time for performance is extended in proportion to the duration of such circumstances.
11. Final provisions
The Provider may update these terms; the current version is published on this page with the date of the latest update and applies to requests for the Services made after it is published.
Any disputes are resolved through negotiation. A complaint is sent to hello@annakazaeva.com and reviewed within 14 (fourteen) calendar days. Failing agreement, the dispute is resolved in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation.
